Confirmation Information

High School Confirmation

Welcome to St. Peter’s High School Confirmation Program.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation includes classes, liturgical rites, service opportunities, and parish community gatherings. Throughout the program, we seek to help our young people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith, and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to live as faithful Catholic Christians.  Candidates will explore salvation history, Church history, the life, mission, and teachings of Jesus Christ, God’s plan for our lives, Catholic morality and moral decision-making, and much more.

Our Three-Year High School Religious Education Program:

St. Peter’s High School Religious Education program follows a three-year rotation designed to provide our young people with a well-rounded foundation in the Catholic faith. All three programs are from Ascension Press:

• Theology of the Body— Based on the teachings of St. John Paul II. This program was completed during the 2025–2026 school year.

• Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation— Our program for the 2026–2027 school year, focusing on preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation and helping students understand what it means to live as disciples of Christ.

• The Bible Timeline: The Great Adventure— Our program for the 2027–2028 school year, helping students understand the story of salvation and how the people and events of Scripture fit together within God’s plan.

Through this three-year rotation, our goal is not simply to prepare students to receive Confirmation, but to help them continue growing in their Catholic faith and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
